Werdum speaks better Spanish than Cain, serio.
Cain's Spanish is really bad. I can't see how new fans are going to connect with him if they can't understand him. Maybe they can do a Ozzy type deal and run subtitles of what he's trying to say.

mexican fans will support him just because he has mexican blood/family.
oh and only non-hispanics think cain spainsh will be a problem when trying to connect with the fans.
91W209 -Relax no need to take offense.TX_432 - Just looked up Werdums Spanish on YouTube. Excellent Spanish compared to Cains lol.Good thing it's not a spanish speaking competition... pendejo
Which one gets injured so Mir can fill in and then these two can fight in 2017
xsrg95 -To new fans that are not into MMA. Yes it will be a problem. Latin roots or not. As a new viewer what would you prefer to watch? Someone speaking broken Spanish or the 5 or so other channels they have on Mexican tv?

Cain will pull out of this fight. Won't be ready.
Because if there is one thing that we have all been saying, it's that we needed another TUF season that holds up a division.
Fucking Bull Shit. God damn it
It will be interesting to see what impact Cains poor Spanish has on his popularity there if any. I try to look at it from my perspective. If there was a fighter being promoted as an American fighter and could barely speak English, I would probably be more offended than proud.
Did they give a timeframe for the filming and/or airing of TUF?
wonder if they will espeak espanish for the whole eshow

It could be ok, as long as Cain is not speaking on an extended basis. Heck he's not known for being loquacious even in english. If it's bad enough, they add add spanish subtitiels (as was even done for some of the britts on season 9 oddly enough.) Ultimately, I think it's going to be the quality of the new fighters and their abilitiy to connect with the audience that will determine how successful TUF is.
If Cain is indeed going to be injured for even longer than expected , (as has been rumored) I don't have too much of a problem with this. They probably want to give cain some more facetime and exposure(as they keep their push into latin america), even if it is on a tv show.
They should schedule Diego Sanchez vs Nate Diaz for this card.

I rooted for Cain even knowing he was American.
Mexicans would root for anyone that says VIVA MEXICO PUTOS!
Some would care, but most will be ok since he has the heritage.
I'd prefer that they stopped doing TUFs rather than going global.
boolsheeyt
sevr1 - Why is everyone whining? (besides "it's the UG")People ignore the truth.
Cain is still rehabbing. Who cares if he films TUF?!
MITman2k -Gfropr -Very true. The fighters they cast will have a huge impact on the success of the show.xsrg95 -oh and only non-hispanics think cain spainsh will be a problem when trying to connect with the fans.
