Just now on Dutch TV. Apparently Bonjasky stated Badr would surely beat Verhoeven and he would be willing to fight Rico if he didn't. Rico just took him up on his word and challenged him.
Not sure how I feel about this fight as Bonjasky just turned 41 and hasn't fought in years.
Seems like it might generate some hype but realistically Verhoeven smashes him..
