Not enjoying the versus format so much. Great that its free, tho. Opinions?
Personally, I love not seeing ads for "Manswers" and "Blue Mountain State" every five minutes.
I think the production is great...especially the pre show with Ariel and Bonner.
Faber being interviewed LONG before the CHAMP bothers me.
The UFC wants Faber to win sooooooooooooooooo badly.
Oh I hope Cruz crushes him.
Then Faber moves to the new 125 lb division and Rogan can interview the new and improved Urijah.
I love the Nate Marquardt commercials DURING the event.
Well, traditionally they always interview the challenger before they interview the champion. Because Urijah was interviewed after the first fight, they planned on interviewing Dominick after the second fight. Blame John Howard and Matt Brown for going to decision, not the UFC for the interview to happen LONG before the CHAMP.
Did you want them to call a time out during the Howard/Brown fight and interview the CHAMP?
Idiot.

I hope this as well. Let's hope Dana's Poster Boy gets ko'd in the first minute.
Spike; 3 hour delay, sometimes edited, lots of commercials.
Versus; Prefight show, 1-3 minute delay, no censoring, 60 second commercial break between rounds.
When does that contract expire again?
BushidoAristotle - Personally, I love not seeing ads for "Manswers" and "Blue Mountain State" every five minutes.
Exaaaaactly. Don't forget the 5 trillion ways to die commercials which is quite the stupidest fucking show in the history of television. Which is saying something.
i3rian, aren't you capable of making your case without calling me a name?
Seriously, you may feel I'm an "idiot" but you are pathetic for not simply posting your reasoning and letting it be all.
Sorry.
I missed production meetings and never kept up with facts challengers were interviewed after one fight with champ interviewed after the following fight.
I never noticed that.
I do notice you got angry over something which shouldn't have been personal.
Let it go.
Then again, if you had a life you wouldn't know exactly what time the spots air and in what order fighters get interviewed.
I still hope Faber loses.
You probably are a Faber fan.
Or you are a fan of tv production since you keep up with knowing when everything airs and in which order.
Kind of nice that they don`t keep the camera on the ring girls so they all can do the patented wave & kiss.It gets old after 100 times.
Fuck Vs, put this shit on Spike!
You people complaining about the commercials must be the ones that complain about the "Bring the pain!" gladiator intro during the PPVs.
Who the hell cares about these non-sequiturs? Tune in for the fights. If you dislike the commercials that much then set a timer up for 60 seconds at the end of the round, change the channel and when the timer goes off change the channel back.
Honestly, the first time I tuned into a UFC on Versus I was bothered by how long it took for the first fight to kick off. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. This being the 4th UFC on Versus card, you should have been prepared for the first fight to kick off at 8:20.
I watch for the fights. The rest is all gravy.

On Spike, the commercials invade the broadcast mid-fight.

Nope.

Possibly, but I disagree.
JeffersonDArcyChoke - Sorry. <br> <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
No hard feelings.

Well then don't post things such as "The UFC wants Faber to win sooooooooooooooooo badly" backed up with the order they interviewed one another.

If you watch cards like this, TUF Finales, and other Spike cards you will notice this.
JeffersonDArcyChoke - I do notice you got angry over something which shouldn't have been personal. <br> <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
Again, you're implying that I was angry when I wasn't, I was just pointing out that your theory of the UFC wanting Urijah Faber as the champion as idiotic.
JeffersonDArcyChoke - Let it go. <br> <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
Way ahead of you.

Yup, I am a Faber fan, but that has nothing to do with the fact that your theory is idiotic.

Nope, not a fan of TV production, I just notice things.
JeffersonDArcyChoke - I love the Nate Marquardt commercials DURING the event.
Yeah, that's cracking me up too
Drunkie -bemsqua - I think the production is great...especially the pre show with Ariel and Bonner.
i was also impressed with it. but bonner sucked his comments about nate having no where else to go could hurt the ufc. everyone aside from bonner did a great job. replace bonner with someones else an they have a good set up. maybe put a lil stand in front of them so it looks more like a espn show
Bonnar is quality. Would love for him to join Goldberg and Rogan in the booth.
