In 2002, PRIDE FC organization launched "PRIDE The Best" The Best were a series of mixed martial art events that featured mainly up-and-coming fighters and was to be a feeder to the main PRIDE show. All fights under PRIDE rules. Featured an eight-sided roped ring. 

 

PRIDE The Best Vol. 2 was a mixed martial arts event held at the Differ Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan on July 20, 2002. The event featured ten fights, fought under PRIDE rules
