Gurgling before trying to finish a choke is usually a good sign that you will be able to finish the choke when you try...imho

At 1:20 of the vid, the triangle he has locked in, is it possible to finish with a triangle from this position without switching the triangle over to the other side?
Certainly not as effective as switching it over though.
