Vitali or Wladimir?

Who do you think is the better brother?

I've always thought Vitali was the better of the two.

He was beating Lewis until that cut, in my opinion he left boxing in the years in which he would have dominated and he still managed to come out of retirement and win a title. Phone Post 3.0

Idk maybe vitali since we've actually seen him in a fight before. Wladimir has proven that he is a great fighter but he hasn't been put through any adversity in 10 years so who knows.

In a fight I'd say vitali Phone Post 3.0

My point is where is wlads defining fight? He doesn't have one. He's been dominant but nobody's challenged him Phone Post 3.0

Wlad is much more fluid than Vitaly is a much better athlete as well. That said, Vitaly has the better chin, is tougher and had the ability to dig deep and overcome adversity where as Wladimir seems to fold a bit when the going gets tough. Phone Post 3.0

Wlad is the more technical fighter and is the better skilled and more coordinated fighter.

Vitali is (or was in his younger days) the more aggressive boxer. Vitali was far more durable and without question took a better punch than Wlad.

We seen Viti give every bit as good as he got in his fight with Lennox. Had they not stopped it due to the cut, Vitali probably wins that fight. Lennox had his best round of the fight in that last round, but he was exhausted. He would have had trouble coming out for another round, he was that tired.

Wlad has shown on three seperate occasions that he has substantial weaknesses that can be exploited.

I'd take young Vitali over any version of Wlad.

The way wlad has developed, at this stage if his career he is literally a machine. I can't see any of the guys out there challenging him. He can go a few more years at this rate Phone Post 3.0

Lol. Vlads last opponent landed 10 punches. Vlad never had to move out of the pocket. Winner of Arreola vs Stvierne has best shot at. Both at least bring some skills. Phone Post 3.0

A large reason that Wlad seems so dominate is the lack of quality opposition. When A guy who couldn't beat Chad Dawson is ranked as one of the top 10 heavyweights, that's bad. Tyson Fury is being hyped as the next superstar of the division. The guy isn't even as good as Jorge Luis Gonzalez. He is probably as about as skilled as Mike "The Giant" White, who was barely journeyman level. The division is a complete embarrassment.

Prior to Leapai his lsat three opponents were unbeaten. Povetkin was a world champion and olympic gold medalist as an amateur.

He also beat Ruslan Chagaev who was an unbeaten at the time and also a former amateur world champion . When Chagaev was 17 he beat Felix Savon

Sultan Ibragimov was also a world class amateur fighter who was unbeaten when he fought Klitscko.

These are good fighters, Wlad is just the best

this^ we need to appreciate the guy more. he's beating everyone and not losing a round doing it. thats pure dominance

Just because these guys are undefeated doesn't mean they are that good. Sure Povetkin was undefeated. But who did he ever beat. Two fights before he fought Wlad he fought Hassim Rahman(who has been a shot fighter ever since Lennox got his revenge). Before that Povetkin was very lucky to get the majority decision over a cruiser weight in Marco Huck. His biggest wins were Chagaev and Washed up Chris Byrd. Minus Wlad, not one heavyweight currently in the top 10 would have ever been rated in the top 10 in the 20th century.

They were world class amateurs and unbeaten. Are they all time greats? Of course not, but they are good boxers. Everybody has a bad performance on their resume

He lost that fight to Huck. No question IMO.

Fury almost got knocked out by a cruiser weight in USS Cunningham.

The winner of the Arreola vs Stiverne is the most viable contender.

Throw Fury in against Wilder if he gets past Chisora. Would be entertaining at least. Phone Post 3.0

Arreola is the definition of a shot fighter Phone Post 3.0

I actually talked to Arreola last week. He was in Rancho Mirage watching Josesito Lopez fight. He looks good. He has obviously been training hard and seemed like he has his head straight. We still need to see if his body will respond. He isn't the most athletic guy. He is going to need to make it a rough and ugly fight. Just trying to outbox him isn't going to work.

I don't think so. When he's in shape he can fight, unless it's Seth Mitchell. Then no reason to be in shape.

I think Stiverne is underrated though. Phone Post 3.0

Stiverne beat him quite handily the first time. I don't see how the rematch will go any differently.
