UFC fighter Alexander Volkov spoke about the taste qualities of Proper 12 whiskey, which is produced by former UFC champion in two divisions Conor McGregor.

"I tried Conor's whiskey. It is ordinary: at the level of Jack Daniels and Jameson. Soft, for mass consumption.

It is good to start trying whiskey, but there are more serious things with a longer exposure that are to be drunk not just to get boozed up."

I don’t think nationality matters when stating cheap liquor is cheap. Everyone knows proper12 is cheap shit. Not like he’s going against the grain and praising it or anything.

It says Tennesse Whiskey right on the bottle lol. Which is a type of whiskey, like scotch, bourbon, malt etc. Whiskey is like sparkling wine, it's named after wherever it's from. Eg. Champagne

Volkov looked solid in his last outing. I think he was a bit hesitant to take too much risk and get knocked out in front of his home crowd, especially considering the results of the rest of the card and the fact he was returning to action for the first time in over a year.

Why are most famous celebrities always endorsing shit products? Quality products make more money per item, but sell a lot less. Wouldn't it make sense to use a celebrity to gain more sales of a superior product? Both for the company and for the celebrity having some credibility and good taste?

Because the money that could be spent on better ingredients/product is instead spent in the celebrity marketing, style over substance and also truly high quality products are not typically the type to resort to having a celebrity endorsing them, different marketing approach generally for such things.
