LynchedByMarshawns12er - But if your looking for a good roll, you could always go down to Merchant Street and go find a mahu. Just gotta be careful if they take your back because they will sink in the third hook.
I see no problem with hotel street mahus and third hooks. Isn't that the fun of it?
Also try behind Pali Safeway, good fun times to be had by all
Jimmy, hope you had a good time at HNL jiujitsu. Coincidently I was at Ronn's today as my work schedule changed last minute. Hopefully we can hook up in the future, just not on Merchant Street or Maunakea Street. People might get the wrong idea.
Haha yeah definitely! I'll hit you up next time I make it out here! Was a great time at HNL.. great technique from Rod, and tough rolls after!
Awesome Jimmy! Rod is a good friend of mine. Glad you could get some training in while you were here. What part of the states are you from and where do you train?
I'm from Seattle, I train under Marcelo Alonso. He's an old school Carlson blackbelt.. You should definitely drop in if you come to Washington!
Rod was super cool.. He asked how I came across the gym, and I told him it was recommended on a forum.. He was like "Oh yeah? Who did you talk to?".. Lol felt like a jackass when I said "this guy.. not sure what his real name is, but his username is robobear!".. There was another black belt who was there rolling when I arrived.. He had to take off, but he was like "hey, youre the guy that was posting on the UG right?" I forgot his name though... But yeah it was a great place to train, I'll definitely try to make it in the next time Im back - whenever that may be! Hopefully soon

Hi Jimmy, I was the one who asked if you were from the forum. Thank you very much for dropping in and I'm glad you enjoyed your training. Have a good vacation and come down again if you have the time. I will be back there tonight. Aloha
