That first knockdown looked more like a push than a real knockdown because the knockdown was caused by the right before the left. The right hook knocked him silly, then the left knocked him down. He did recover quickly from all of the knockdowns.
Silva's takedowns were very effective at the beginning of the fight, it wasn't until he began to fear Hunt's power that his shots became sloppy, and Silva was no longer setting up his shots with punches.
Overall, I thought Silva fought a good, smart fight, but he wasn't nearly as aggressive as we are used to seeing, and that's probably what cost him the decision.
