This is weird.. I'd root for wanderlei against almost anyone on the planet, but I gotta agree with Dana on this... You can't sign a contract then all of a sudden switch things up and demand more $$ just because people are interested. That's the whole point of a contract, isn't it? Conor_Max'd_out_XIITT_Bozys_Anus -Wand got legit KO by Rampage and Leban. He lost a close decision to Chuck in which i think is the greatest fight in mma. He lost 2 decisions to Rich which i think he won the first and was close to finishing him the second fight. His run in Pride, and his fights in the UFC, I would give Wand anything he wants fight wise.
Is is being given what he wants fight wise. He's just not being given what he wants money wise.

I'd doubt that, you might be right, but that makes no sense considering most casuals dont know what he 'did' in Pride.
Wand's a fucking fighter. If he accepts a challenge,you bet your ass he'll follow through. He put's on exciting fights,that's why he's still in the UFC. Win or lose people will buy a Wanderlei fight because they know they're gonna see a fight. Fighting is his career and he should get paid. Is he main event PPV worthy? No. PPV Co-Main event worthy,certainly. By the way he's 4-5 in the UFC since he returned. If Chael stands with Wanderlei,and he won't,it'll be a short night.. One thing you can credit Chael with is his ability to sell fights. He can go 0-5 in his next five fight's and he'll still be in the UFC. If he loses against Wand,he's already talked his way into a fight with Machida and Vitor. And he'll probably get it. I like Chael,but I'm a bigger Wanderlei fan. So I'm going with Wand on this one.

Wtf are you talking about? I'm the biggest Wand fan there is, but be fuckin real. Wand was juiced to the gills in Pride. Sonnen would eat him alive now. This arguement isn't even worth having.
Im not going to question Wanderlei's willingness to fight anyone ever. I mean the guys record speaks for itself. He has fought almost everyone who was anyone during his career. He is definitely my favourite fighter and i have not missed a fight of his in over 10 years. That being said you couldnt really pick a worst matchup for him i keep picturing him throwing wide hooks with Chael ducking under then holding him down gnping for 3 minutes him getting up landing a couple of shots then getting taken down again at the end of the round. Rinse, Repeat for as many rounds as the fight is scheduled for. I would LOVE for it to turn out differently but i don't think the chances are high.
Wand looked awesome beating up Japanese no-hopers. Let's not forget that Pride was throwing any Japanese guy at him, hoping one of them would become a hero.
