Well scratch my plans for applying...
Good luck Nick. If you need a solid reference I have an big politician on east coast and someone on NYS Box Commish that I am buddies with that can always give a phone if needed..
Thanks Joey, I appreciate it. I will keep you updated if they call me for an interview or anything.
YouAreNex - wow Youre going to fly me out to Vegas cuz I dont think they have those in Cali mate.
I only picked olive garden cuz its close to CSAC but you can take me to hooters across the street, talents is bad there and so are the wings
Maybe instead of a job with the CSAC, I should open a Fazzolis in CA. That place is delicious.
any news? they clearly need you out there!
I would vote for Nick Thompson.
Fire Cecil Peoples if you get hired.
Ron Kruck says he's on the short list
MountainMedic - any news? they clearly need you out there!
Haven't heard anything
it will be stupid if you don't even get a phone interview out of this.
It's certainly a difficult job; overseeing the regulation of every professional and amateur sporting event in the most populous state of the union. Not to mention administration of a large organization while dealing with state budget cuts.
Sound like you will be stressed. You know what relieves that kind of stress? Fresh bread sticks, served hot out of the oven.
Get a PR guy to get the word out ...outside of the UG....and have someone start one of those online pettitions for you.
Get a press release sent out about you..so it gets picked up by media......accomplishments, legal backround, education, competitve backround in combat sports... and that after long consideration you decided to apply for the position b/c you feel a passion to improve the CSAC in all sports and enforce the laws etc. Can't hurt. It will attract attention to you.
Apples and oranges, but it worked for my man Paulie Malianaggi. He got his rematch wish to correct that robbery vs Diaz in Texas...
As I am sure you are aware it would require you to give up fighting professionally.
Good advice Joey......say, have you ever wanted to do some PR work?
ttt for the goat as CSAC executive director
