Why is that people use the "grow up" line when anyone does a job people dream of?
It's always "he's never worked a REAL hard day's work like me" or "that isn't a real job" or whatever bullshit that is supposed to make a man feel better about being on a construction site or behind a desk all week.
It's like the guy who goes on about baseball salaries while saying it's a "child's game" before carrying on about what is man's work, etc.
Every single man would rather be a rock star, athlete, entertainer, actor, etc than to work a 40 hour plus week.
Those who get to do that are usually talented and often more driven.
I guarantee there are some great singers or ball players out there who just never went after that dream.
They end up 45, drinking and wondering what could have been.
War Machine isn't saving the world or curing disease but he chased his dream, found an opportunity and is talented enough to make it happen.
That's as real and as manly as anything a man can do.
