Was UFC hoodwinked into playing Vince's game?

Signed CM Punk instead of Askren, who later went on to be a bigger draw than Punk and far more important to the UFC's business.

The Rock put the belt on their “BMF”

Ronda Rousey went WWE and Colby says that if he beats Usman he will be joining the WWE Roster and leaving the UFC, unless they can meet his number.

Brock came into the cage and roughed up DC then declined to fight him. Why would he? Brock had a better run in the UFC at Heavyweight, more title defenses.

Now fans are talking about and want Logan vs. Rogan. Two Youtube guys might be the biggest fight possible right now.

Did Vince allow UFC fans to get hooked on the pro wrestling aspect? Because he knows that pro wrestling with worked outcomes is a favorite to win in the end over pro wrestling with actual fights.

Who's asking for Logan vs Rogan?

doubt joe would take any fight at this point, he makes so much money the UFC wouldn't want to pay him how much it would cost joe to train and not focus on his podcast/comedy career.

WWE/MMA is a mutual relationship.

Each have a big fan base and both want eachother's fan base to become their own.

Correct. You could just as easily say WWE played UFC's game by introducing MMA elements in their performances. Remember CM Punk throwing Thai kicks? Undertaker wearing MMA gloves and doing a triangle choke? Daniel Puder vs Kurt Angle? And of course Brock rasselling in full MMA gear.

All attempts to ape the "real as it gets" hook of the UFC.

wonder where the UFC would be today if Vince has kiboshed TNN from putting Ultimate Fighter on after RAW.
