Trailer:
Charles Lewis founded TapouT in 1997, prompting a whirlwind life that intersected the birth of a sport. Selling TapouT apparel out of the trunk of his car during road trips throughout California, Lewis took on the superhero persona of 'Mask' as he donned war paint on his face and wore outlandish comic book outfits. By 2007, TapouT was a national brand with revenue under the unconventional Lewis's leadership reaching $22.5 million. Mask's vision quickly came to represent hardcore aspects of MMA fandom, at a time when the sport floundered under political pressure. By 2007, with the political fights waged and won, Lewis's ambition to create the Nike of mixed fighting appealed to the mainstream as well.
The history of MMA cannot be told without mentioning Masks, or the era in which he emerged. On March 11, 2009, Lewis was killed by a drunk driver in Newport Beach, Calif. To honor his contributions, the sport's dominant promoter, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), posthumously inducted 'Mask' as the first and only non-fighter into the UFC Hall of Fame. His name also appears in the Octagon.
agree. the dude was doing illegal street racing and putting other people's lives in danger. im just glad he didn't kill any innocent people.
Did you witness the event to know hw was street racing?
I didn't witness it but there was a police officer there that did witness it.
are you SERIOUSLY disputing that he was street racing?
What exactly the police officer say??? What was his conclusion?? Show me your facts ???
He saw a Ferrari and a Porsche driving side by side at high speed, and then both spin out. Obviously I know this isn't news to you since you are emotionally involved and not being objective.

Not emotionally connected right this minute:) driving side by side is a little vague considering what distance the cop was at? FYI this guy had a older Porsche, have you seen the speed a 350 Ferrari can go 2? So driving side by side is a indication he was drunk and racing correct? Thats what your saying? Im just trying to understand your solid facts in this situation.
chaplinshouse - If you're not going to be truthful right off the bat in the trailer then there goes the incentive to open wallets. Why would people pay/trust an overly biased storyteller that ignores vital key facts to suit his own narrative? You could have made Mask's death a powerful warning about the consequence of street racing, while still celebrating his life and influence. Instead I'd be left wondering how much of the story being told is factual
PS/for instance: Where's the video u claimed to have of Tito street fighting Lee Murray in the UK? I'll pay a VOD fee for that
Please dont order this film :) Would not want your money. You have zero facts that he was street racing.
Bobby, to answer the comments listed above did you contact first responders on scene to discuss the grim details of Mask's demise? I don't recall if you changed Mask's 'Believe' or 'Tapout' logo for promotional purposes like you did to my friend with '1'.

What do you think bro??? I regards to 1, Mr Evan Tanner I was the only person that went to Clapp Springs to investigate the specifics according to the lead sheriff. My nature is very investigative. One person made the comment of Mask being drunk still waiting for his proof on that.
I don't think there is any proof that was released anyway stating Mask was racing or intoxicated. We know the driver of the other was doing both. But as far as what Mask was doing, we don't know and I'm not sure it's responsible or fair to assume he had a role in this when there is no proof pointing to that

Going to check this out. I met Mask a few times at So Cal tournies when I started BJJ / MMA in the late 90's and he was one of the nicest guys on the scene at that time.
He was super generous with his time, sponsorships and smiles for everyone.

we know both cars were speeding, and side by side....
in any case just saying ""killed by a drunk driver" is intentionally misleading at the very least.
