Watch out Tyson Griffin, Gray is coming for you...

....and your title of King of Decisions!

5 Decisions in a row for Gray
7 Decisions in a row for Griffin

Lets here is for the 2 top un-finishers in the UFC today!

WOOOO!

Clay Guida will join them soon, aswell.

Indeed Guida is right up there@

I was thinking the same thing.

When Griffin and Maynard fight, you can count on an entertaining fight, but pretty much a guaranteed decision

both have the respect of their peers though.. and i dont think anyone would say either one of them is an easy fight

dbl post

And Guida, and Edgar, and Sherk,

oh come on!

Gray did everything he could to finish that fight and Huerta just wouldn't give up!

He almost ripped his arm out of the socket for fuck's sake. Any normal person would have been tapping like they were sending morse code

At least Guida's decisions are exciting......

Doing everything you can would require stepping forward and pushing some kind of pace, instead Maynard back peddled and count punched and then when he got a chance, layed on top of him (something he is apparently works on and is very good at).

I'll give him the Kimura.  That was sweet and the most exciting thing he has done in the UFC however the dude is just not exciting and does whatever he has to to earn a JD.  Too careful for my liking. Not a fan.

uniqueid09 - And they're all primary wrestlers.

Shocking.

And they have a combined record of 87-17-2

keep crying

reading your thread title i was gonna make a decision joke, then i read the body of your post hahah

good one sir

Well, to Gray's credit he has been trying harder to finish fights lately. I think he will start finishing more and more people as he improves, hes got the top game and heavy hands to do so. Griffin? Doubtful.

theres nothing wrong with fighting to go to the decision, the problem I have is with fans who can't admit that the aforementioned fighters are not fighting for the decision victory.

hey if chuck Liddell can be a "knockout specialist" and Damien Maia can be a "Submission Specialist" why can't we call Maynard a "Decision Specialist", that is how he fights in the UFC, look at his record, 5 in a row!

That is a logical point, but people won't pay to see a "Decision Specialist" main event, that's for sure.

Blame their opponents for being unable to stop it, if they keep winning then it isn't their problem. Their fights tend to be pretty good entertainment anyway, even if they do go the distance.

they are too small to knock each other out

its the kids division for christ sakes

A win is a win, good for them going to the decision every time, they would be stupid to try to finish a fight when they do not have the skills to do so. Also they might loose the win bonus if they took chances to finish the fight.

Not a fan of Maynard.  Was really rooting for that pretty mexican man last night. lol
