WATCH: Sean O'Malley hands out gifts of $100 to random Walmart shoppers on Christmas eve

Says the guy crying here.

Pretty sure most people said giving money is good. And there are self serving douchey ways to do it.

Both things can be true.

It’s ok.

More impressed with the UFC fighter I knew who did a Make A Wish visit with a young girl with cancer and didn’t tell anybody about it or broadcast it.

Once the top 10 gets ahold of him, he’ll be back at Walmart trying to get that 100 dollars back.

I applaud the people refusing to accept money from a midget hipster attempting to make a viral video. Fuck OMidget, fuck his hundreds, and fuck you too!

Pranks are retarded? Interesting take but that’s neither here nor there. The argument I’m making is that general public (and/or the UG) would find that sort of thing hilarious. Yet he makes a video literally giving out his own hard earned cash, and gets a ton of criticism.

If the prank is funny then I’d find it funny as well. I’m just a rational person who is able to see both sides of the equation.

However, the wrong motive for donating your money to strangers is not enough for me to criticize anyone.

The random people that accepted the money seemed more than ecstatic to be getting it so I’ll defer to their feelings on the matter. I don’t feel the need to have a strong opinion about everything.

You’re make it more philosophical than it is.

If you wanna say it’s self serving then we can probably say that all donations are self serving. Even the most altruistic people get satisfaction from it because they enjoy helping others.

Literally not a single person on Earth has gotten nothing out of being generous to somebody in need.

I have had it bite me in the ass and I currently have someone who took big-time advantage of me and I wont ever… ever make that mistake again.

Id rather give it to strangers than have “friends” who needed my help.

Yeah definitely depends on the situation. Sorry you got fucked over bud. It all depends on who is asking me and if I even have it.

There have been times where I’ve lent the money but now I usually only do that when I don’t need it back. Generally speaking we don’t have the sort of financial situation to give loans and in the past if we did, we were putting ourselves in a bad spot and needed it back.

Now I only do it when I don’t need it at all because I don’t have the expectation of repayment. But there also isn’t anyone in my family or friends who has abused my generosity or anything. I definitely give more to strangers than anyone else.

Damn man sorry to hear that. Sucks when “friends” pull that bullshit

Sean expertly avoids the point in response.

First off, it’s cringe and just begging for fondness.

Second of all, I donate thousands yearly so don’t sit there and challenge us.

Want to know a sad fact? I probably still make more than Sugar Shane right now. Except my longevity career wise is longer than 5-10 years. I could easily post a video of me giving away $3k because I do yearly to charities I believe in, not handing out $100 to bums at Walmart.

The fact you’re buying into this is embarrassing. If that’s what it takes to be Dutch, then count me out.

He’s begging for attention. This isn’t really even doing a good deed, it’s condescending and embarrassing to the people who accept it.

“Here you are presents, love me”

Bruh, who would hang out with this jabroni on a Friday night if he didn’t have $100’s to hand out? Sad shit.

Omg shut up.

“Omg you losers making fun of Sean! Let’s see you do something”

(Well we do, here’s what)

“Omg pat yourself on the back more why don’t you”

Lol, you’re the problem with the world.

whoa there. fuck me, cool your jets dude, that’s brutal, getting out of hand.

I definitely suggest reading this. Sean’s response is hilarious.

I’d much rather hang out with a broke jabroni on a Friday than a guy with your attitude. You don’t think telling us how much you donate to charity is asking for attention? Because it is. You sound like a self-centered moron.

“Yeah, giving out money — some people didn’t like it,” O’Malley said. “Like this one guy tweeted something like, ‘you give money out without…you don’t need a camera guy.” What was it? Woah, first of all, it’s my sister. She’s a girl, don’t be sexist. Girls can record videos too. No respect.

“‘You don’t need a camera guy to help people you piece of sht.’ I didn’t know that to be honest. I was actually taken back by that. I thought if I did it without recording it, the people I gave it to wouldn’t care. I thought the people I gave $100 to had to have a camera there for them to care. So that was my fault and I actually learned something today. I gave a homeless guy $20 and I didn’t record it and he didn’t care. Maybe he’s on to something, maybe I’m on to something. I don’t know, I thought it was pretty fun. I enjoyed it, I had a good feeling in my heart giving money to those people… I still felt like a good person. Even if I’m a piece of sht, I still felt like a good person.”

Your three grand to a charity results in about 10 bucks to the cause.

You are on a high horse in a glass house throwing rocks. In order to shit on somebody doing something nice you first want to convince us you are nicer because you give more but dont talk about it.

You just talked about it.

100 dollars in the hands of someone who needs it right now is way more effective than a couple thousand to a charity that pays employees and lobbies for shit then gives the leftovers to a committee to decide which Starving African gets a whopper jr this week

Fully agree (and I’m dutch  )

If you have more than enough to take care of your own, share it with causes that deserve it.

Don’t stand on a soapbox and advertise yourself while you give away a few bucks to randos. Utterly useless and solely for the purpose of likes and thinking good of yourself. But hey we already knew omalley is an arrogant egocentric cunt.

I’m willing to bet most of you talking shit never threw a nickle into another person’s life.

Can you just stop calling everyone out for not helping people and then shitting on them when they prove they do?
