Three suspects arrested over rape and murder of pregnant pastor's wife who was killed in her home
Amanda Blackburn, 28, was trying to defend her son when she was shot
Husband found his wife wounded after returning from the gym
She was 12 weeks pregnant with the couple's second child when she died
Three men will also be charged over other burglaries in Indianapolis
Three people are being held by police in connection with the rape and murder of the pregnant wife of an Indiana pastor.
Eighteen-year-old Larry Taylor, Jalen Watson and Diano Gordon were arrested over the sexual assault and homicide of Amanda Blackburn, 28.
Taylor had been previously questioned in the case but then released and the three will also be charged in other burglaries including a rape in Indianapolis, FOX 59 reported.
Blackburn was 12 weeks pregnant when she was shot in the head as she tried to defend herself and her one-year-old son Weston when her house entered into on November 10. She died after being rushed to the hospital.

The original article mentioned that similar sled burglaries had occurred in the area. People quick to judge. I am glad they caught those cocksuckers. I don't like the husbands statement either about his wife's greatest attribute.
I watched one of those dateline or 20/20 mysteries recently and there was a case where this wealthy older man was murdered in his house. Held over a sink and killed. The only thing stolen were a few of his less expensive guns.
Also in the house was his adult son and his wife (the victims daughter in law). They told police they entered the house when 2 or 3 men in masks grabbed them at gun point, tied them up, before going upstairs and killing the father.
Under interrogation, both stories had small but important inconsistencies. The husband and wife contradicted one another about the number of assailants (2 vs 3) and the kinds of gloves being worn (wife said fuzzy gloves, the husband said medical gloves).
Even worse for them, it appeared as though they were behind on their mortgage and the son was the sole beneficiary of the now diseased man's fortune. The police concluded the son killed the father, made it look like a robbery by removing a few of the inexpensive guns, and then made up the fake account of being tied up. The police painted such a grim picture of the case, the entire family turned against the son and the wife and refused to spend a nickel on their defense, believing they were responsible. Why else would a killer murder 1 man, but leave 2 alive.
Eventually, both were indicted by a grand jury and due for trial when suddenly out of the blue, a local young lady called the police and told them she could not live with the guilt. She explained her drunk redneck boyfriend and 2 friends robbed the old man, whom they knew from the local store, cut his throat, and stole his guns. They were arrested and pled guilty...
2 innocent people were days away from a life time in prison and their entire family had turned against them.

TFK_Fanboy - So this story is a bit personal for me and people around meBrutal.
That preacher was on staff at my church in S Carolina. Everyone loves them. He and his family moved to start their own church. Our church continued to give him a paycheck until they got settled and they gave money to help fund/start their church. They are still considered apart of our church's family.
Our pastor preached Sunday and then left immediately after to fly up and do the funeral service
Pretty emotional at our church this past Sunday because how many know them and time spent with them prior.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family in the church. May their souls rest in peace.
What a nightmare...if my family were killed, I am not sure I could go on living...and yet, if I were accused of it I am not sure I could take my life knowing people would assume it was out of guilt.
