WEC should add the Super Heavyweight Division

Why not? I think it would fit in perfectly with what they are trying to do

Their super heavyweight division was practically non-existant while it existed.

 love this idea.

i disagree, theyve said a few times theyre stickin with the lighter weights cuz theyre lil balls of energy, all their fights are fast paced (for the most part)

i think it would totally kill a card to have like damacio page fight then garcia or the korean zombie then switch to some fuckin huge guys who gas in 30 seconds

ttt

Why?  So all of Team Alpha Male can sit on one another's shoulders and fight as one?  Don't see the fit.  Women's divisions, I'd like to see, though.

Everybody would just be pissed when Lesnar had both belts.

as long as they can find enough guys that don't look & fight like marshmallows

Herring In A Fur Coat -  Not enough SHW's worth their salt to make it interesting.  Who wants to see walruss fights?

CHOI HONG MAN WOULD CRUSH ANY POSSIBLE SHW DIVISION

Instead of just adding the over 265 SHW I would rather see them adjust some of the weight classes and fill in some of the gaps to maybe somehting like this.

119-125        Flyweight

126-130        Bantamweight

131-140        Featherweight

141-150        Lightweight

151-160        Junior Welterweight

161-170        Welterweight

171-180        Middleweight

181-195        Super Middleweight

196-210        Light Heavyweight

211-225        Cruiserweight

226-250        Heavyweight

251-300        Super Heavyweight

301+              Openweight

"301+ Openweight"

Wouldn't openweight be, well, open? Like the Pride Grand Prix's where anyone fought regardless of weight.

Way too many division IMHO, keep them at least 15lb apart. I do like the idea of breaking the heavyweight division up a bit though.

The UFC currently has 5 weight classes, the WEC has 3, but the LW overlaps. If you add the SHW like the OP is talking about (which I don't think there is enough talent out there for it) you could also easily add a fly weight (which there would be plenty of talent at) that would make 9 classes, this list is 13, but really it would be 12 for now imo, until there was enough talent in the over 300# class. Going every 15 pounds in theory is great, but when you look at it in % of bodyweight it is a big difference at those smaller weights, plus it gets harder to cut weight when you have less to work with, so I think there should be a bit closer gaps at the light weights.
