My male cousin got married a couple months ago. I couldn't attend because I was busy and the ceremony was in a different state.
I'm thinking of giving them $1000 cash in an envelope when we meet next month. Is this too much? Or be a cheapskate and give nothing?
Wow...$1000? I'd give something like 100-200, but if you have a grand to give, I'm sure he'll be happy.
