I do think Weidman can beat Silva, but he is coming off a long layoff and a injury. So when he fights Silva he won't be at his best.

Yeah the problem is all the other viable contenders at MW have been knocked off recently (Bisping, Belcher, Boetsch). Weidman is 5-0 at MW so I think he'll get it.

I think the UFC will remain quiet until the Lombard/Okami fight goes down.
There is a strong argument for Lombard with a devastating finish of Okami. March 3rd will probably dictate who Silva fights next if they don't announce Weidman.
Vitor's last 3 fights have been outside of the U.S. I wonder if it has something to do with getting his TRT approved in the states and especially in Las Vegas.

Looking forward to this fight though but I don't see Weidman winning the first time they fight.
