Can someone tell me why the weight limit for heavyweight was dropped from 286lbs to 264.5lbs? I was upset when they dropped the limit from unlimited to 286. But dropping it down to 264 is ridiculous. If Karelin or Baumgartner were wrestling today they would need to drop somewhere from 15 to 20 lbs. And those men were huge but they were far from giants. I think that FILA has eliminated the really huge athletes from competing and really for no legitimate reason. Does anyone agree? In judo the heavyweight division is unlimited. Why can't wrestling be the same?
