Werdum demolished Roy Nelson

It seems like every other thread is about the main event. How come nobody is talking about this fight?

It was the most entertaining fight of the night to me. Werdum showed outstanding striking and beat up Roy more than Mir and JDS did.

I'm definitely looking forward to more Werdum fights. Mir-Werdum anyone?

Yes to Mir-Werdum. I'd go with Werdum by TKO.

I would like to see just one of those asshole shills come back and apologize for disparaging Werdum and saying he wasn't UFC material, but they always hide and are so cowardly. Phone Post

He showed how to FIGHT an opponent who wants to stalk you.

Musashi - Werdum is ELITE.
Damn right. For nearly a decade.

It was a whoopin Phone Post

Werdum looked great and Roy's chin has never been in better shape Phone Post

So true. Perhaps a certain welterweight should listen to this.

Your posts are terrible. Phone Post

Jons Forsberg - with that kinda cardio he will never be a top 5 HW.

Who? Werdum?

If so, then not sure if serious. JDS looked more gassed at the end of his fight with Roy, and he didn't dish out as much punishment as Werdum did.

Checked his oil Phone Post

lol @ werdum pointing with his finger at Nelson's gut, when Nelson looked down Werdum unleashed punches and a knee

Werdum looked fantastic, the guy is HUGE. No wonder Overeem had so much trouble!

I wouldn't say that Werdum gassed, but he definitely slowed his pace in the last two rounds.

Zuffa had to feel like crap for cutting Werdum the way they did.

Strikeforce HWs are doing quite well in the UFC.

I have a feeling they will push Werdum hard for a title shot by the end of 2012/early 2013.

Kings MMA redeemed itself as well.

Since when did he get a clinch game? And why wasn't Roy throwing the haymaker like it was a fashion statement? ??

Impressed by werdum none the less :) Phone Post

Was very impressed with Werdum, really happy he's back in the UFC. Phone Post

Never be top 5?

It goes like this:

1. JDS
2. Overeem
3. Cain
4. Werdum
5. Mir

Werdum is EASILY #4 and you'll see when he fucks Mir's world up in the clinch. Phone Post

It was quite the ass whipping. Werdum's no joke. Phone Post

Werdum`s knees in the clinch were damn impressive, looked much more fluid and comfortable overall with his striking. Its sad to see what has become of Big Country, a skilled veteran who is now mentioned mostly in "who gave him a worse beating " type of arguments.IMHO he should realy try to add more weapons to his striking, aside from that usual over-hand right that that he throws.

Cormier and Carwin aren't deserving a fight with Werdum yet. Phone Post
