He is but he also restored a war-torn country, making the Chechen capital one of the most beuatiful cities in Russia. Kadyrov prevented growing of what is now known as ISIS in Chechnya back in late 1990's early 2000's. He fiercly combats the terrorism in his traditionally radicalized Muslim country, and tyranny comes with the territory. But of course you wouldn't read it in the Western media, they are happy to highlight only the bad things related to Russia, Chechnya, Putin etc.

Yes they are, ponyboy. MMA is booming there nowadays, two solid orgs (Akhmat and ACB) with lots of young hungry fighters who are very good. Kadyrov is funding that shit like crazy. ACB is going to implement an official PED testing soon btw - they will be first in Russia to do that. But no need for it really, those Chechens are just so strong and tough naturally.
Also a good and smart way to stray young guys away from Jihad path by Kadyrov, to channel their aggresion
