Werdum wants Cormier next

Decent fight. Though I worry, Cormier might hold him against the fence for awhile like the Mir fight because he won't want to go the ground.

Would probably be standing, though I worry about both gassing quickly.

Also, if Cormier wins and moves down to 205 and Cain beats JDS, he kills off a contender in the HW division. Doesn't matter if JDS wins I guess, because I assume Cormier would stay at HW to take on JDS.

Same thing if Werdum wins, but I guess 205 isn't as starched for contenders, you still have Glover and the Machida rematch.

fight doesnt make sense...  there are a limited amount of contenders at HW as it is... why would you potentially let a guy who's leaving the division eliminate a contender?

Miocic makes more sense.   if Miocic loses so what, if he wins all of sudden you have another contender.

Cormier doesn't make sense against very many heavyweights when he plans on leaving after his next fight. It's a meaningless fight in the division if he wins. Phone Post

ideally cormier should just move down and fight a contender... what the heck is he waiting for?  it's been months since his last fight and his next one wont be for another few months so might as well just cut down.

He's trying to play both sides... incase JDS wins he can stay at HW.  it's ridiculous.

if he insists on his next fight at HW before moving down then a LHW fighter should simply move up and fight him.  Let's see how he looks against a 205'er even if it is at HW.

Little Nog could move up and fight him.

Cormier should have moved down and fought glover Phone Post 3.0

Cormier doesn't deserve it after stinking up the joint in his debut against Mir.

I agree that Cormier is playing both sides in case junior wins, but I think part of it is that he's not convinced himself he can make 205. Phone Post 3.0
