West Coast Submissions Championship- June 13th

The West Coast Submissions Championship will take place Saturday, June 13th in Maple Ridge, BC just one hour north of the WA state border.

It is a unique Round Robin tournament without elimination where the only way to win is by submission. Weigh-in takes place between 9:00am and 9:45am and the tournament will start at 10:00am.

Every competitor will fight up to 10 times opponents of varying skill levels. Competitors may wear a Gi or grappling shirts and shorts, but only gi jackets and pants can be grabbed by opponent. The cost to enter is $50.00 plus GST and there is no spectator fee. All registrations are online ONLY. There are no refunds.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIT REGISTRATION IN SOME OR ALL CATEGORIES TO INSURE A TIMELY CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT!

99% of guys do go No-Gi, but in the past we had at least every year one winner in a category wearing a gi very successfully...

It's the actual name of the tournament. I'm not sure if there's room for Canada in the title. CA maybe, but that could confuse people about California.

Sorry for any confusion but there is also lots of Jiu-Jitsu in Seattle and that's the West Coast as well.
