We are specifically looking for new / debut / or beginning fighters to compete in the Pittsfield Massachusetts area on November 4, 2006. However, more experienced fighters are also invited to compete on this card.
The event is to be co-promoted by myself as well as the owners of ChinBoJok.com. ChinBoJok has promoted several kickboxing events (including fights televised in South America) as well as quite a few MMA events before it became more recently popular (late 90's, early 2000's).
The Northeast has a thriving MMA scene, especially east of Worcestor Mass. However, the upstate NY area, the Albany NY area, and the Western MA area have all lacked events for fighters local to these areas to compete.
Our intention is to provide not only a more "local" opportunity, but also to provide newer fighters a chance to compete against others with similar experience levels.
