I like the WSB template and I also enjoy 5x5 training so I figured I would combine them and give it a go what do you guys think.
Just to be clear it would be the same exercises and order of exercises but of coarse they would be done as a 5x5 rep scheme.
Do a search on some of the bodybuilding forums - maybe bodybuilding.com. I know I've seen guys post routines like this - maybe you could see their results. Hell if I can remember where I've seen it brought up, though.
Wiggy - workout plans
If you are a beginner, then it is possible that your "work up" to a 5 rep max (sans warmup) might be close to 5X5. That is, assuming the 5X5 template is progressive in weight, not the "5 rep max and add weight when you can actually do 5X5 of it".
If I remember correctly, the program says something to the effect that the higher your max, the longer it should take to get to it.
Yeah I found something on the bodybuilding forum. Thanks Wiggy.
Some guy can't remember who came up with a 5x5 using the W4SB template. It was a very long thread to say the least so I didn't read it all but it looked interesting.
stronglifts.com also has a nice progressive program from beginner on up as well :)

just do WSFB for 2 months and then switch over to 5 x 5. That way you keep making progress.
