what are the chances Tyson finishes Sherk?

you think better or worse then dana co-promoting?

I'll go with slightly worse and the same is true for Sherk finishing Tyson, too.

 agreed.

Finishing is overrated on here for whatever reason.

Was GSP-Penn any less exciting because it went to a decision? Was Griffin-Edgar less exciting because it went to a decision? Was Rampage-Hendo any less exciting because it went to a decision? Was Guida-Melendez any less exciting because it went to a decision? Was Aoki-JZ any less exciting because it went to a decision? Aoki-BK Jung? Fedor-CroCop? Fedor-Nog?

Sherk does LnP, but Tyson pretty much never does. He was involved in some of the most action packed fights of 2007 (Guida, Edgar, Tavares) and just beat up on a legit LW contender in Aurelio for 3 rounds. Were ANY of those fights less exciting because they went to decisions?

some fights are too close imo, thats why we like finishes

 No way.

I see Sherk winning a UD.

I understand liking finishes, but to denigrate fighters that put on exciting 3 rounds fights that don't happen to end in a sub or (t)KO is just silly. You also have to take into account the other guy might just be tough as nail and not want to tap (Griffin-Edgar knee bar at the end) or is just a freak who rarely gets finished (griffin-guida).

Not a chance in hell; Sherk is a bigger, better, faster and more experienced version of Tyson Griffin.

As close to zero as you can get in MMA.

Sherk finishes this one.

Sherk will win by decision.

TheLurKing - Griffin wins this one. Sherk without roids is just not the same fighter.

LMFAO @ this nonsense. The man lost to BJ Penn, the best 155 pounder in the world, and all of the sudden he isn't the same fighter.

With Cecil Peoples judging fights it's not very smart to let it go to a decision!

"Neither his size nor intensity was there."

lol, he looked 100% the same.

What is the chance that this will be the most boring fight on the card?

"What is the chance that this will be the most boring fight on the card?"

Zero chance imo. I can see them exchanging furiously on the feet and if it goes to the ground it won't be a lay & pray. Tyson is great at getting up from the bottom. I expect this fight to go everywhere and be highly entertaining.

And for those who say Sherk isn't the same guy before the roid thing, wake up! Penn kicked his ass, but BJ is so far ahead of everybody else at 155 it isn't even funny. Penn will make everyone look bad at lightweight if he continues to stay as serious as he's been in the last year.

unless it is from a cut stoppage, this fight has about the same chance of either guy finishing as OJ has of finding the real killers...

BJ > DORKUS - "Neither his size nor intensity was there."

Youre kidding right?

He looked the same physically, hard to judge his "intensity" knowing he was fighting BJ, coming off a steroid suspension and wanted to be exciting...
