I can’t understand how so many people believe that Mike Tyson is an all time great heavyweight. He wasn’t even the best Heavyweight in his own era, yet millions of people believe “Cus D’amoto trained” Tyson would kill anyone ever.

Had he been allowed to mature into an adult who was motivated and disciplined throughout his career i stead of being thrust into a world he wasn’t grown up enough to deal with I think it’d be a different story, but you’re largely right.

He needed years of therapy and education to undue everything he grew up around.
