Just wanted to know what are like the requirements to earn a shot?
because some fighters need like a solid 5-6 win streak and others don't
popularity. or a long win streak if you're as boring as Fitch 
Like.... Win streak, quality of opposition, popularity, fan demand, and how much $$ the UFC can make off of it.

Marketability is a big part of it.
Its why Fitch probably won't sniff another title shot unless he starts finishing fights impressively.
Fan interest is a big factor in the UFC, besides actual rank and fight results.
Otherwise how the hell did Dan Hardy ever get a title shot?

Fitch isnt helped by the fact the gsp smashed him though, People forget how one-sided that fight was. Seriously he knocked fitch down 3 times, landed over a hundred more punches than him, took him down 5 times in seven attempts without even being takedown himself. It was a real beating.
u dont think i've ever seen fight metric scores that one sided over a 5 rounder
