What did you do with your fight tapes?

I can't bring myself to throw them all away. I have a few boxes that take up more space than I'd like but I don't just wanna toss my library. What did you guys do with your videos?

Gave them away to friends years ago, but it was hard. Let them go though. Everything is online now.

Wtf, Joe?!? My old school Pancrase set in the big bulky black and red two tape cases. IVC 1-13, various K-1, ZST, this that and the other. Dammit man, there's gotta be a better way!!

Digitise them then share them with the internet, like mbetz is on the "rarest mma tape" thread

I threw them all away. Offered to a few friends, but no takers. They are all online anyway.

I still have every single Pride Tape in a box in a closet,  the old VHS copied ones before they sold the DVDs here and the DVDs. Bushido and Grand Prix events included.

Sold mine on ebay, but it was years ago when people still had VCRs.  Someone might be excited to see them at your local Goodwill.

I have years and years of raw, unedited Pancrase Japan footage. I plan to digitize someday.

Trashed them when I moved ... couldn't justify moving them.  Wish I had kept all my Grappling magazines though.

it was an amazing thing to be a part of though

I was a 9 year old little boy and my uncle gave me UFC 3 on tape and from that point on I would follow no sport but MMA

Id trade or buy tapes on ebay

Still have vhs tapes of recorded UFC events and some of those UFC unfiltered shows or whatever they were where they showed highlights of past fights.

I sold or gave away most of my VHS since most were bootleg.  But I ripped every event saved on my computer.   I still have many DVDs. Lots of pride and smaller orgs.  I sold most of my UFC DVDs

Around 2008 I had a feeling it would only be a matter of time before something like fight pass came along, at least for UFC content.   I also got into torrents around then and knew everything would be available.  It’s hard tossing DVDs and VHS but at the end of the day it’s really just extra boxes to move/store.

I have a box in my garage.  I'm tempted to either get a vhs or transfer to a flash drive somehow.  I have old prides.... instructionals.

The replay value of throwing on say UFC 5 was nearly unlimited.

Theres a profound difference in appreciation and significance when youd wait for maybe 3 events in a year versus 3 each month.
