i mean except for news sites? i have not kept going to any single web page for this long. and i cant even put a finger on why i keep coming here year after year. is it love of mma? the comraderie in taking this sport from nothing to being worldwide? the online "friendships"? loyalty to kirik?

Yeah I started off with sherdog in 03' came here in 07' and haven't went back to sherdog since! Way better here, definitely with the iPhone app I check in everyday!

Started coming to an earlier incarnation of this site, back in the 97 timeframe... forget exactly when.
Back then I was an NHB fan and had no one to share that with. Loved the sport but no one else around me really cared for it. It was my outlet.
Although the sport has now blown up, I'd still rather discuss it here as you guys have a deeper level of understating of it than the people in my normal life.
There's a lot of troll bullshit that goes on here, but that sometimes overshadows the camaraderie and sharing of knowledge and hilarity (OG) that's what keeps me coming here many times a day!
Oh, and I also like Man of the Peephole Threads :-P

To answer preemptively, the history here is amazing. The fact that I will likely be able to pull up this thread when it's relevant to me is great.. I love that Kirik/UG operators understand that archiving all of this is worth it.. even all the garbage haha.
