And Dillashaw got over the bad blood and Dillashaw invited Cody out to train with his new team? Cody doesn’t cut much weight to make 135 and with Mighty Mouse no longer champ it looks like 125 is now up for grabs. Does anyone else think that moving to Dillashaws camp and dropping to 125 would make for huge improvements in Cody’s game and long term success in his career?
This scenario will never happen. I like your imagination though OP!
Great idea in theory.
Cody doesn’t seem like the guy to swallow his pride and make that move though.
I feel like if his goal is legitimately to be the best in the world then his pride would not get in the way, his loyalty to team alpha male is what’s holding him back from being the best that’s what sucks because I really feel like it could produce enormous growth

Cody will be 40 years old and still bitching about the situation to anybody who will listen.
Ive said it before, but it will never happen, but I think it would be the best thing ever if Dominic Cruz joined TAM as head coach

I mean he does know all their weaknesses
I’d love to watch this unfold
Dillashaw’s has been on several teams over the past few years, including TAM, including multiple title runs. I’m quite sure his training now at his current place is excellent, just as I bet it was at his immediately preceding situations. I’m sure Garbrandt also gets great training- the type that helped him become champion by beating the best bantamweight in history.

True but even though T.J. moves around he has a very important benefit that team Alpha Male doesn’t seem to have, a steady head coach. Physically Cody has the tools needed to get to the top, a steady head coach that can keep his head on straight like Duane and add to his toolbox just might take him to the next level where he could stay in top
TAM has shit coaches and this point. Faber needs to take out some case and shop around

Really would be the best for the team.
Well Cruz seems to me he could be the ultimate coach… if he resists grinding and crushing egos. If he becomes even remotely good at motivation and pushing people up, his knowledge, MMA savvy and brains are off the charts. Though I can picture him being the perfect coach than one day just embarrassing people in front of everybody.
