What if Ronda loses?

I know theres a very slim posibility juding by the 15-1 odds, but lets say Ronda loses to Liz? What happens? What does Dana do? How does WMMA do in the UFC? Phone Post

I wild it each lol that meets their naked. Phone Post

Remember what happened to Elitexc when Kimbo lost? Women's 135 would be in the same boat imo. Phone Post

Life goes on? Phone Post

Orcus Knows MMA Better Than Goku - Life goes on? Phone Post

ODI? Phone Post

Dana's got this all figured out that if Ronda loses a fight, they'll be an immediate rematch so she can regain her role and everything will get back on track. Phone Post

No way he'll let the division carry on with anyone else as champ Phone Post

I think that Dana and the UFC knew that before they brought the women to the UFC they had to get enough interest generated within Strikeforce, and they succeeded at that. Should Ronda lose there is still Meisha, Cris, McCann, hopefully Kedzie, maybe even Carano if she should choose to come back. Plus I think the UFC will build other fighters as well. To me I think Rousey is like the Chuck Liddell of womens MMA. Before Chuck the UFC was growing, but it was Chuck and all the success he had the really ushered in the culture we see now. Of course he had Tito, Randy, Matt Hughes, BJ Penn, Vitor Belfort, and others as well, but at least to me when I think of the first fighter that really brought MMA to the main stream it was Chuck.

Those of us who have been watching this from the beginning will always remember Royce, Shamrock, Coleman, Severn, Oleg, etc as the pioneers, but Chuck is who brought this to the main stage.

Nah...i think it would open things up quite a bit. Ronda brings flair but if shes fed cans then who gives a fuck. Better she loses, then fight again for a title shot. Lizbo (if she wins) can fight another contender. That makes 4 fighters right off the hop in the 135 div. Open up a round-robin for 145 title...bingo-bang-boom-o! Two divisions within a year! Phone Post

This division is all about promoting Rousey. I don't think people are into women's fighting enough for it to just survive and thrive without a really unusual story line or big star to carry it.

I don't think the UFC is committed to anything but promoting Rousey in this situation either. Phone Post

if Carmouche wins, she'll be defending her belt on fuel TV....

Yep...Dana already said basically the same thing Phone Post

No way Ronda loses. Carmouce got triangled by a gassed Golden Glory fighter if I recall correctly. Phone Post

they will dismantle the womens division if she loses i assume Phone Post
