Have Gate Keepers fight each other and have new fighters fight tournaments with an old fighter or two for shots at the intercontinental title, guys abandon it when fighting for UFC contender level fights but have it as a weekly tv fight night in smaller towns/ venues that don't get UFC fights. 
I've liked this idea for years. I was really hoping they would implement this system when they bough strikeforce.
