What If You Were the World's Best FIGHTER

So you’re living your life, maybe you do Jiujitsu twice a week, maybe you don’t, but you’ve never been a real fight.

WHAT IF

You were the world’s greatest fighter and you didn’t realize it because you never plan on becoming a mixed martial artist? You know how some people never picked up a golf club and then they go to the range for the first time and theyre a natural, hitting the ball like a pro?

What if that was you, with MMA

But you never tried a real fight, under real conditions, so you will live the rest of your life never knowing you were the world’s greatest fighter.

What if C-A-T really spelled DOG!?!

OP is high.

There's a million people with potential to do it. That's not what matters. It'd the hard work you put in.

If the only way to know for sure was by getting in random street fights then I'd be happier never knowing whether I was the world's greatest fighter. Would you want to know if you gave the worlds best blowjobs?

I’d still find a job that pays better.

I never came close to using 100% power level in a fight.

Well, I found out rather rapidly that if one has poor vision, a striking contest is not advisable. I was involved in wrestling at all levels for over 40 years with a modicum of success but my one and only foray into MMA did not end in the manner I would have hoped for.

The best fighter at our gym doesn't compete.  Well he has competed in muay thai but never MMA.  Good wrestler, good BJJ and good striking.

I've seen him destroy numerous UFC and Bellator guys at our gym.  He only pops in once in a while.

All the best guys always want to spar him because of his level.  But he runs his own fitness gym and doesn't have time.

He is a true freak of nature.

I feel like your threads make me dumber. And that's a hard thing to do.

The best in training are not always the best when the spotlight is on...

one of our guys in the national team was so good in training that even the heavyweights had itches sparring with him. He was a -170 guy. Totally wrecking in sparring most days and you didnt even wanna hold pads for him cause he smashed so hard. Along came tournament time. he never made it past the groupstages. Until his 4th WC where he actually performed 50% and got passed the groupstage and earning a 5th spot. Best I ever seen in training. always mindboggling why he didnt smash those guys on the competition mat

I guess everything would be the same as it is now.

I agree with that.  I have never seen anyone get the best of him and practice and it's no secret.

He was undefeated in muay thai fights so I'm sure he doesn't crack under pressure.  He, also, competed in D1 football and track so he is a pure freak.

Just join a fucking gym Homeslice.  Most places will even give you a free or two, and you can answer all of life’s great questions then and there.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. It takes more than potential, you have to be driven near to the point of insanity to be an all time great at any sport.
