Some of the treaties are old and may need to be looked at again. We as a nation are broke right now. Do we really have the resources to be getting into wars around the globe still? Do we need to get into a war with China over some man made islands in the South Pacific?
I think these are all valid things to look at again. We are piling up debt daily and overstretching ourselves financially.

If his claims that these nations do not fullfill their financial obligations under the agreements are true, then he is right and I believe that this is posturing/negotiating for when he gets into office and turns to these nations to reinforce the fact that they have to pay their way.
