I'm not like the king of getting great deals like some people I know seem to be, but I do but and sell things on ebay and craigslist and generally try to be smart about the money I spend. Every once in a while I get a great deal on something.
I recently sold just about all my guitars, partly because the money was a big help for paying for kids' college and because I almost never played any of them, and there are some negative emotions attached to some of them. My plan was to sell everything and start my musical life over with one old/cheap acoustic guitar, and maybe finish rebuilding an electric I built 30 years ago and cannibalized to give my friend the neck. Out of all the cheap decent acoutsi guitars I've played, I always like Yamaha as well as Takamine.
So I was looking on craigslist yesterday and I saw an ad that just said "acoustic guitar with case", so I clicked on the picture and lo and behold it was an old Yamaha FG460SA, right in line with what I wanted, and he wanted $150. I saw the ad had been up for 19 days, so I took a flyer and texted him to see if he'd take $100 if I met him as soon as he wanted wherever he wanted with cash in hand. He said yes, I met him, done deal. The guitar is going for $300-500+ on ebay, so I'm excited and almost torn as to whether to flip it or keep it.
So, who here has a story about a great deal they got?
i was at a local church auction here in central jersey that only a about 70-80 people show up to every year and most of them are older women coming for the rummage sale.
so people donate things to the church to get sold and they always go for a fraction of their value
like this year we got an antique wooden dresser that someone else originaly won the auction for and then realized they couldn't get it in their car.
they won it at an unbelievable 25 bucks.
after the auction was announced finished i was collecting the fewthings i had one and she comes back up and asks the guy if he'll reauction it for them. he started the bidding at 5 bucks. i bid no one else raised it so i got an antique solid wood made in virginia dresser for 5 bucks
i could put it on craigslist and easily get 150 for it right now but i needed a new dresser so i'm using it lol
it's very very close to this one
A girl I know let me suckle on her tits for $5
A nice old dresser for $5 is indeed a great deal! As far as the titties go, I guess you can get slapped in the face with some titties for $1 at the strip club, but I'm not sure if a $10 lap dance even gets you suckling privileges in all cases, so $5 may actually be a great deal if that is what you're into!
