I've been waking up with a sore lower back and hips lately. The mattress I have now isn't that old, but it is starting to sink a bit, which is probably causing the discomfort.
I've been reading/watching reviews of Loom and Leaf, ghost bed and Purple mattresses and everyone seems to like them. Plus, they aren't $3000.
Anyone here sleep on any of those mattresses or have any different suggestions?
i recently bought a memory foam mattress off groupon for like 300. it took a few nights to get used to (bad back pain when i woke up) but my fuck i love that mattress now.
Got a Leesa about two month ago. I had tons of restless nights in my old bed and I know the springs were worn out but this new memory foam matress is awesome. I looked at reviews and videos for a month before getting it and I'm not disappointed one bit. I went with the leesa because it is supposed to be cooler than other similar matresses like casper and loom & leaf. Would have probably got a bed in a box but leesa was a bit cheaper for me in canada atleast. sleeplikethedead.com has some good info. Chiro work last year had me sleeping pretty good but now I sleep even better on this matress. Fyi I have bad back and neck with compressed c5-6 and would wake up previously and not be able to move my neck. Not claiming matress cured me but it was one improvement that helped alot and I sleep sound on it. Anything that comes in a box has a brief period of smell that lasted about a week. Was noticeable but not overpowering.
I got a memory foam mattress about 5 years ago and am very happy with it. It's one of the cheaper ones, but it's a high quality mattress. I got it on sale for $300, shortly afterwards the price went up to $500, and now I think it's over $700.
In recent years the price of mattresses have exploded. If you don't want to pay too much, check online for various websites and reviews to find the quality/high-value brand mattresses.
My sister and brother in law got a Tempurpedic brand mattress and it's awesome. But considering they paid more than 10x more than I did, I feel I got the better value than them. And like I said, I'm very happy with my mattress. It's nice and comfortable, I get a good night's sleep and feel good in the morning, I'm very happy with it
I have two king tempurpedic mattresses . A contour select and a cloud. They are amazing. When they get worn out I'll buy more of them they are worth the $!!!

We bought an Ultimate Dreams Supreme memory foam mattress a few years ago and love it. I think we paid around $700 for it and it is comparable to the temperpedic model that sells for over $2000.
