What sports are coming to Fight Pass?

The UFC and the all women's MMA Invicta FC recently announced that Invicta FC events will now stream exclusively on Fight Pass, the UFC's $7.99/month* service.

At the UFC 174 pre-fight media scrum, UFC president Dana White indicated that the company was in discussion with more companies to add live content, including other combat sports.

"We're going to keep adding content to this and that was one of them," said White as transcribed by Dave Meltzer. "They don't have a television deal and women's MMA is very important to us. The girl who runs that show is sort of a one-woman band, trying to do everything she can. We thought it would be good for Fight Pass. We're not invested in it. We don't own a piece of it."

White declined to go into much detail about other companies he is in negotiation with.

"You might see a lot of combat sports and other things," said White. "We're out doing a number of deals, including non-MMA, there's tons of potential."

White did hint that he was in negotiation to stream wrestling, and hastened to add it was not pro wrestling.

Another obvious possibility is Judo. The UFC and USA Judo recently announced a one-year renewable agreement.

Thus far the agreement includes featuring two-time Olympian Travis Stephens in Zuffa's "UFC 360" magazine, and adding USA Judo on tje UFC's website, Twitter and Facebook accounts.

It would be natural to add top USA Judo events to Fight Pass.

If you ran Fight Pass, what organizations would you partner with for content?

*With one year commitment. Ongoing subscription with auto renew that can be cancelled at any point is $9.99 monthly.

So is it 7.99 or 9.99? Phone Post 3.0

Very cool. I hope they can broadcast some BJJ, wrestling and judo. Phone Post 3.0

Pretty sure that's a mistake. If it is only 7.99, that would be one intriguing deal. Phone Post 3.0

That plus some kickboxing would make Fight Pass really worthwhile

Now this is change I can believe in. The UFC may get more of my hard-earned dollars after all

I am pretty excited about this. Would love to see some combat sambo, but I would be happy with any other combat sports on there. Phone Post 3.0

Metamoris, ADCC, Eddie Bravo Invitational etc!!!

Do it...

I didn't realize it was 7.99/month for a year subscription. Just saved myself 24 bones.

Nope it's legit, just looked it up. It's 7.99 if you commit to a year, 8.99 for 6 month commitment and 9.99 if you go month to month.

If they start streaming IBJJF and other Jiu Jitsu matches ie: EBI and Metamoris, i'm signing back up.

yes!judo, wrestling!with the rise of sambo fighters too, maybe include that.

Dana is such a big boxing fan, I would not be completely shocked to see some boxing on there at some point.

This is exciting, smart, and it does a lot to help and promote the lesser known combat sports while acting as a farm/fighter builder for UFC. Love it.

Throw in national and international level wrestling, BJJ, boxing, kickboxing, judo, taekwondo, knockdown karate, sanshou, etc. Fuck yeah.

Now this is interesting

Not going to happen but GLORY would be fantastic! Phone Post 3.0

Well, obviously some boxing would make sense. Would be great to see submission grappling, specifically ADCC stuff past and future. FILA World Championships. Some Muay Thai stuff would be cool. Basically big events from the different disciplines that are used in MMA regularly. I'm sure a lot of the international combat sambo events are up for grabs for broadcasting.

ADCC would be sick! Phone Post 3.0
