holy shit these are insane. from a small town in Oregon the worst I've seen was in football during practice our kicker got his kick blocked and dude landed on his leg and his bones were popping out back of his leg that was pretty nasty but some of these... damn. VU to everyone for the stories 
Saw a victim of cartel violence in Mexico. Dude was laid on the side of the road with his guts laid out next to him, his arms and legs broken and his head sitting on his chest.
Saw a guy on a motorcycle try and split lanes and clipped the tire of a semi with his saddle bags. It shot him under the tire and the tire popped his head like a walnut. Saw him fall then drove right by his brains on the road. Fucked my day up.
Saw a guy fall off a traffic light on New Year's Eve and break his neck six feet away from me.
Saw a few shootings and a stabbings but those weren't as bad as the others.
This was in 1993 or close to it. We were at a bowling alley on a weekend night. Tons of people from high school were there, place was jumping. Everyone shooting pool and bowling. At some point 4 black guys came in then instantly started shit talking everyone. Just going group to group saying foul shit trying to get someone to fight them, or find someone to jump.
They got to this big group of guys many lanes down and I guess these guys had the nerve to talk back to them. The black guys were way out numbered, so when their bluff was called they left. Lots of posturing and junk talked, but they left.
Less then 5 mins later, when they dudes went back to their bowling out of no where one of the black guys came running through the door and straight up to one of those random guys and hit him as hard as he could in the face with a tire iron. It knocked most of his teeth out, broke his jaw, broke his face. Then they just ran off and disapeared.
It was a bloody disgusting mess. A random act of extreme violence for zero reason.
When I was in high school I was sitting across the hall from another kid by my locker. He was a nerdy band kid. He was just sitting there eating his lunch and some kid walked right up to him while he was sitting on the floor and booted him clean in the face. His nose was smashed up and he was out cold and bleeding everywhere. The kid who booted him was a real little piece of shit. Half the size of everyone else but just bat shit crazy. I highly suspect he is dead or in jail at this stage of life.
I've got no super crazy stories and I'm okay with that. If I came across a Cartel victim I'd need counselling. That's about as hyper violent as you can get...
I saw a Toyota tundra flip on the free way when I was heading to tucson. The violent part was seeing a car seat fly through the air as the truck was tumbling. :(

Saw a guy I know get his face turned into minced meat by a dude with brass knuckles.
One time saw a small car get absolutely levelled by an 18 wheeler at an intersection. When I ran up to the car there was a new born baby in it. I pulled him (or her. Not sure) out and baby was covered in blood. I felt horrible. Alive though.
Ah, I just remembered this.. watching my dad violently beat and choke my mom... fuck. I remember being in the middle of it and getting hit in the face..

Saw dude 10 seconds after he was murdered. Heard the gun shots and crept up the block and saw him.

Worked a ghetto hotel in north Raleigh when I was 19-20, back in 99/00. Saw some insane shit. Watched a drug crew beat a guy to death in the parking lot with a baseball bat after the junkie tried to give them a $20 bill that was actually a $1 bill. They beat him unconscious, then one of them stood over him and finished him off with axe-swings with the bat.
There was an attempted kidnapping/murder where I was involved in a fight, trying to save some random guy. Two men appeared at my night window, the one at the glass was trying to rent a room. His debit card was declining, he was sweating and asking me to "please please" run it again. I saw the guy behind him with his hand in his jacket, fucking sweltering hot night, and hit my emergency 911 button. I told the guy at the window I needed his PIN (LOL) and handed him a piece of paper and a pen. He wrote "Dial 911" and handed it back. So I pretended to call in on the card, told him that his bank's customer service needed to talk to him. I tried to unlock and open the lobby door so he could get in, and we tried to slam the door closed when the other guy went to force his way in. The robber/kidnapper pulled a gigantic fucking knife, swinging it at us with his arm trapped in the door. We actually broke his arm slamming the door on it repeatedly, and when he backed off to run two cop cruisers came pulling up. They tackled the guy, then came in the lobby. It took a minute, but we realized the victim had actually taken a serious slash to his hip/thigh during the struggle, and he passed out when he saw all of his own blood. It turned out to be a random thing, dude walking down the street got held up at gunpoint. The guy was going to rob/murder him, and god knows what else, once inside that hotel room.
Also saw a guy beat his pregnant wife with a telephone outside the lobby, left her slumped against the door, bloody and blacked out.
That sounds like a job you weren't getting paid nearly enough for....
I only made $7.00 per hour back then, but I wrote a spreadsheet program that caught the GM stealing (the owner suspected and asked me to help) and one night I showed up for my 7pm-7am shift and the GM was gone. At like 1 a.m. the owner rolled up in his Escalade, dropped $5k on me and told me he had the GM arrested. I used the money to quit and move to another town a couple weeks later.

I found a neighbor in full cardiac arrest next to our common letter box, no idea how long he had been laying there. Called 911 and tried to do whatever I could to help, to no avail.

Was heading into the parking lot to breakup a fight (didn't realize exactly how big the fight was)...
There was a big brawl that had spilled from the patio to the parking lot. I watched a dude get dropped and sort of slump on his knees still in an upright position. Another guy saw in and drove his knee into the guy's face. He must have been out cause he didn't even react or try to protect himself - smashed nose, broken jaw and a fuck load of blood.
I was pretty sure he was dead.
