The girlfriend and I are in Hilton Head for the week and will be taking a day trip to Savannah tomorrow. Any suggestions on what to do or places to see/go?

We already have dinner reservations for her place, but thanks for the suggestion.
Take the tour of the city on the trolley. Not a bad day. And you can get off and walk around all the stops and just jump on another one.
Pink house is great for dinner.
The river has a great view and walk down there with shops.
If you get a sweet tooth hit up Leopolds.awesome ice cream joimt.
Tybee island a 15 minute druve...very nice beach. If not enough time hit up a ghost tour. A lot to see and so much history. I try to go once a year now. 
The botanical gardens are nice! Enjoy dinner at Paula's! VTFU
