What type of ratings did cyborg do on FS1?

First fight on Free TV in over a decade.

Only 2nd fight in UFC headlining a card many considered a weak Brazilian card.

Promoted on the back of UFC Hidalgo, the worst ratings event of the year for FS1 so far,

I don't know but they must be great because Cris pulls Ronda/Conor type numbers.

I think the mainstream has been waiting for a fighter like Cris to really get behind.

Please find below. The numbers do not lie, The Champ is here :)

This past Saturday night’s UFC show on FS1, headlined by Cris Cyborg’s 2nd round destruction of Lina Lansberg, did 1.109 million viewers -- the highest number for a Fight Night show since March 2016.

This was the highest rating for a UFC show headlined by a women’s fight, beating out the July 8th TUF Finale show headlined by strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Claudia Gadelha that did 1.086 million viewers.

Overall, it was the 8th highest rating for an FS 1 Fight Night main card since UFC debuted on the network in August 2013.

The prelims did 883,000 viewers, well ahead of the year to date average of 749,000.

Congratulations to Cris and her team for all their hard work in promoting this event!

Where are all those who said Cris is not a draw? Where you at George?!?!

Ronda is getting nasty though.

That's the real story is how nasty that woman got in the past 3 days than what Cyborg did.

If you listen to Dana White.

It's clear the UFC didn't create a 145 division so Cyborg couldn't get a title or way to fight Rousey without losing a foot and cutting to 135

Cyborg just did great ratings in what was a squash match in prime time against college football.

Ronda may be nasty but Cyborg fast became a star. Phone Post 3.0

You would probably be able to find out before us, no? I hope it did well. Cris is (and has always been) a superstar, and deserves the all of the acclaim that goes along with being the greatest female fighter of all time. Phone Post 3.0

Getting over a million in the cable ratings in FS1 means she is worth more than the 50k/50k she signed with the UFC.

As to what it does in terms of superfights, is in her and UFC hands now. She has to keep hitting 140 for Ronda and others to take the fight, and UFC must give an incent$ve if they want the 135 elite to fight her at catchweight.

Holm v Shevchenko, by comparison, did 4.7million. Phone Post 3.0

Ray, why are you ragging on Bec on Twitter? It's pathetic. Phone Post 3.0

averaged 1.1m viewers and peaked at 1.35m.  On FS1 that is very, very good.

UFC has to create a 145lb division.

With the right push Cyborg will be able to draw on ppv even without superfights.

Cyborg should fight for the inagural title on the big FS1 show following the NFL playoffs (this is what catapulted Conor Mcgregor) and then she should fight on ppv.

It doesnt matter if the talant at 145 is weak... you have the historically best female fighter at 145 - that is enough to launch the division.  There are plenty of girls at 135 who can move up after getting out of the 135lb title picture.

Oh...and the prelims for Shevchenko v Holm on FS1 did 1.26 million. So the queen is in par with the prelims of a previous women's card so... Phone Post 3.0

Premiums for Fox cards get that number, so why would this be an accomplishment? Phone Post 3.0

What's this? Two UGers beefin' online and they don't even have the fucking decency to do it here?

Homos. Phone Post 3.0

Just a cursory look finds this isn't remarkable at all. In fact it's less than nearly every fight night or prelim I've managed to look up.

UFC 202 Prelims on FS1, 1.3 mil

TUF Finale on FS1 ATT V Blackzil's, 1.8 million

Prelims on FS1, March 5th, 1.8 million. Phone Post 3.0

scrapdo - Holm v Shevchenko, by comparison, did 4.7million. Phone Post 3.0
That was on FOX not FS1 dumbass obviously that's going to draw a much larger audience. It's much easier to stumble upon a fight on FOX vs FS1. Phone Post 3.0

Everyone loved/loves when Dodson/Penn/Sakuraba/Minowa/DC/Rumble/Randy/Sudo/Royce/Renzo etc... went up in weight and challenged larger fighters.

Why do people on the UG act like these top BW's should not go up to challenge themselves against Cyborg?

Its not like Cyborg vs Ronda would be Sudo vs Butterbean or Fedor vs Hong Man Choi more like Penn vs Hughes or Rumble vs Arlovski.
