What was wrong?

I was working bar and couldn't really take the time to really watch the entire presentation, only the fight. We had the volume down too and couldn't hear anything either. I see a lot of negative feedback here, but its unclear as to why people feel this way. We knew it would only be one fight, and you always run the risk of a quick ending.

So what exactly (if anything) was wrong with tonights debut? Thanks for any input. Phone Post

So why complain about that now? I didn't see any of that before tonight, just excitement regardless. Phone Post

I think people just had high hopes for the first UFC on network tv and it ended up just being a one minute fight in an hour time slot, so they are disappointed for the UFC. Dana really put it in perspective when he said they signed a 7 year deal with Fox so we really shouldn't be disappointed.

That's a fair point to make. It will be interesting to see when they're alloted a real time slot to showcase everything. I just didn't understand why exactly everyone is crying failure when they knew exactly what they were getting with one fight shown, and the potential for the quick finish. Thanks for the input.
