What will bring down UFC

Do you think Dana's proffessionalism will influence fighter's to fight elsewhere. Other organizations offer the same or more pay and probably are more professional and treat the fighters better. Lets say a trend starts like Tito goes to Elite than other stars including upcoming prospects follow, that might seal the deal IMO.

it COULD be his downfall

drop the attitude

Filler will bring down the UFC.

I'm tired of it.

Tito vs Rashad II will bring down the UFC.

"Tito vs Rashad II will bring down the UFC".

LOL, this could be true

"Meteoric Rise"

"Top of the Food Chain"

"It is all over, it is all over"

"Coming up next...."

All must go

Dana did a lot for MMA but honestly he is starting to let his personal friendships run the business and it will lead to failure. Chuck is the dullest fucking Superstar in the world and they force feed him to do press for UFC and he comes across terribly. Tito has the personality, hell Randy even has a much better personality than Chuck. They arent doing enough to Promote Rampage. Dana is fuck buddies with Chuck so he james Chuck and Forrest down our throats and they are not marquee spokesmen for the sport.

The pay looks pretty unfair too

how they treat their fighters is what will bring them down.

I think the end of the TV series the King of Queens, a known marketing vehicle for the UFC, is the beginning of the end.

If the UFC treats their fighters so badly and pay them so poorly, why are the big names sill signing with the UFC and why are the UFC's big names not leaving?

Elvis

Elvis, I don't have relations close enough to any big name to know why for sure. But my assumption would be the recognition. UFC is right now at the top and if your there anywhere on the card you are being talked about, which is good. Its a huge self promo to be on a UFC card and pretty good for the rep. Plus the UFC has proved to be stable where as these other orgs are risky because of such high competion via UFC. Another good reason is sponsorship advertisment as well, there probably are alot more reasons that I would never know but I do think the UFC is unfair in many ways and what goes around comes around. I like watching the UFC but once the trend starts and another org proves to be stable, i think Dana's attitude will change real quick but it might be to late.

I think Elvis knows more about the subject than you guys.

In my post I mentioned that I don't have the info, but as a fan from the outside that is my perception.

The ufc is rolling and is here to stay........end of thread........

Good point. And let me ask you this, Elvis --

Do you find it insulting that fat internet fucks feel the need to bitch about business dealings that go on between you and the UFC?

Elvis should know. I always think it's funny when people talk about how bad the UFC is to fighters. Last I checked, people work to get paid and pay is a product of market conditions. If someone else is paying a lot more than the UFC (all things factored in), fighters will gravitate there. I'm not sure what the UFC is doing that's so mean to their fighters, but it's the same with any job. Some jobs pay more but have a less comfortable work environment. You weight what's most important to you before you take one.

When the fighters are well known enough to make their own matches.

Don't get me wrong, I do think the UFC could improve some things. But I also think they do a lot of things right.

As mentioned, there is also alot more that goes on behind the scenes. I have been privy to some of the bonuses that have been payed out, and they're nothing to laugh at. Dana looks after his fighters, whether you want to believe that or not.

The UFC is not going anywhere and is not suddenly going to fold or fall apart. That doesn't mean another organisation won't succeed or grow or fill the void either.

Just trying to keep it real.

Elvis

Elvis,
how accurate are the salary figures that get posted on these websites? Are there a lot of hidden payments that are made that don't make it to those articles?

Also, do things like medical expenses, travel, hotel fees etc get paid for all fighters? (including the new fighters)
