what's making this noise?

got an oil change the other day. since then, something from within the engine compartment makes a creaking noise. i've ruled out the breaks as it constantly creaks, even at idle. it creaks consistently, as though something was turning it to creak.

my friend checked the serpentine belt and felt that it's not loose enough to cause this problem.

Take it back to where you got your oil changed and have them look for the problem. Maybe there was something that was supposed to be greased or lubed.

I recently had a really back creaking noice.. turns out my waterpump broke.
