I'd LOVE a Nick Diaz/Condit fight. Shields? Diego Sanchez? Thoughts? 
Condit deserves the title shot, but I'm sure he'll fight again because he doesn't wanna wait.
A fight that makes sense would be a BJ Penn or Fitch fight. To me, the Sanchez fight wouldn't make sense.

Condit has been fortunate to be matched up against guys who are probably at the height of their rankings (eg Hardy). I think there are a bunch of guys who would beat Condit, so he should get his shot at the title before he's knocked out of contention. Most others, like Alves, kos and fitch have already gotten a shot at gsp, so he should get his.
I would much rather see Condit fight Nick Diaz in a non-title 5 rounder than either of them fight GSP. These guys have great standup, offensive ground games, attitude and a lot of toughness. The staredown would be worth it alone!
Neither of them have the wrestling needed to be the champ IMO, but they are no doubt two of the most exciting and skilled fighters in the sport.

So would I, but Diaz isn't beating GSP (to me). If he did, Diaz/Condit for WW title would be epic. But Condit should get a shot after Diaz and then whatever the result of GSP/Condit, Condit should fight Diaz next.

I think it's safe to say that Condit will have no problem fighting GSP.

I like this, since you're not taking a guy out of title contention if he loses and it's the best way to avoid gsp rematches.

This is the most asinine statement of the week. By that logic I think Anderson should have to relinquish his belt because Lil Bog lost to Davis.
I'd like to see Condit vs Penn for the #1 contender spot. That fight would have some great fireworks. Winner gets winner of Diaz vs GSP.
