Go ahead and give him a shot against the winner of GSP/Diaz.
Why make him go through someone like Kos or Fitch? Worst case scenario, he loses to one of them and then we're stuck watching them get pasted by GSP again.
At least Condit is a threat to GSP. The other guys are all just prototypes of what GSP has already become.
At the post fight press conference I believe he said he'd rather fight someone soon than wait to fight the winner of GSP vs Diaz. I'd like to see him fight BJ or Brenneman next.
I'd like to see Condit Fight Rumble. that would be a fun fight.
Condit is a victim of bad timing. He deserves a title shot now but GSP vs. Diaz is not until late October. He'll probably fight another contender in the meantime. Yes it is risky but if he can't get past another solid welterweight then he shouldn't be fighting for the title.
I think that the welterweight division is the most stacked right now because of all the great fights possibly on the horizon. I know the lightweight division has a lot of guys too but fuck
