So I was quickly taking a survey and one of the questions was : best promotion.



Elite XC

Hero's

PRIDE

SHOOTO

Strikeforce

UFC

No Answer



Of course, they're leaving out BODOG and other ones.  But out of these, I thought, "Well, so far I haven't watched much Elite XC, although it's getting big.  Ah, Uno and others  I know fight in Hero's so I'll click that.  But wait, PRIDE used to be so much huger, and Japanese fans say there was nothing like PRIDE's promotions.  So I'll choose that.  But wait, there are often mismatches and stuff, and bad calls, so maybe oh! Shooto!  I always love SHOOTO and my buddies all fight there, but no, they pay sh*t. But the match-ups are great. hmm.   I haven't seen much Strikeforce yet.  UFC rules!  But there's ups and downs with them, people are mad at them, etc.  SO....what is the best promotion?"



and I still haven't decided.  I guess my criteria is more personal, but I suppose there are many.  Like talent of fighters, how much money they pay the fighters, what kind of fun and interesting show and display they put on, etc....

lol at Strikeforce being on the list.  The WEC is much better then strikeforce.

UFC hands down is the biggest and best promotion.

There is no contest. There is the UFC and everyone else.

I like rioheros just cause its closest to real fighting. adding gloves, taking out soccer kicks and this and that really makes it into a different sport.

oh yeah, and honorable mention: the promotion that got rox19 to get all dolled up like a covergirl.

This type of topic rarey attracts interest on this board. Everyone seems to agree that all promotions are more or less the same.

Where did all the Pride nuthuggers go? I guess maybe some people are still typing their essay long comment since the total reply amount isn't very high as of yet.

UFC and Pride. UFC mostly, but Pride did put equally good or better shows during 2002-2005, since 2005 shockwave it's been pretty much only UFC. (Yes, imo OWGP was weak besides couple of bouts)

I like HERO'S and DEEP shows as well... and ZST for tag team matches! lol

I still think that "No Answer" is the best promotion around.
