He was working on some striking with Mark Hominick recently.

I’m not sure exactly. On the MMA Hour he said something like “I’m getting the training I need and there’s guys in my division”. So to me it doesn’t sound like it was bad blood, but rather this new camp is providing something that AKA wasn’t.
I’m glad he did it, he needed a change for sure. Maybe where he’s at now he will work on his fundamentals and his attitude in approaching fights. If he fixes those he can be champ again. I’m assuming he’s with ATT since it’s Florida? Didn’t hear names.

Maybe at AKA, he rarely gets any training with DC, Khabib or Cain and the likes, and he felt like exploring. I think he should focus on his grappling.
He can train where he likes. Arguably one of the best all round fighters or athletes in MMA, but he has no chin.

He’s been working with Hooft since like 2017, before the Branch fight. I know Mark Henry was helping Chris Weidman get ready for Rockhold, but he may be training there some.
I think that Hooft likes hard sparring too...

Almost every video ive seen if sparring hes getting man handled by dc rarely cain i think.
